Our Journey to the Future

Welcome to our blog spot~ on our way to meet He or She. This journey will start as a surprise, and end as one as well. On November 5th, 2009 Sean and I found out we were having a baby. On February 4th, at 20 weeks, we didn't find out the gender. That was an exciting day, to seeing the little one on the screen moving around like crazy, trumped not knowing.

Glad you are here with us!

Love Amy and Sean

Where we are at

Sean and I have made the big move in together 2 weeks ago. All is great and it is so nice to have our own space for the first time. Mom and Dad helped us move in and were so nice to be here the whole weekend and rent the UHaul too. We could not have done it without them-I think they are getting younger each day, not older.
2 weeks prior to our move, Sean's youngest sister Michelle came out to the great state of ND to visit us. It was awesome to meet her and we had a blast! The only bummer was Sean had started his new job and long long hours so wasn't able to spend as much time with her as he wanted. Still good time to have her out here and hopefully again once baby is here.
The weekend before the move, we were home in Spicer and had a great time at Aimee and Shaun Peltier's. They were so generous with baby stuff they no longer have the use for. They shared with us the greatest stuff. Thanks guys.
Larson was here to visit last weekend and helped with decorating our new home. Her ideas helped inspire some real awesomeness!! Thanks Lars :) Erica will be coming to visit next weekend and Mom the weekend after that. It is great to spend this special time with my loved ones before life gets super busy and a tiny (but BIG) priority will need our undivided attention. The baby room is coming along! I have started washing clothes and situating a closet. Next is the crib-what inspiration that will be to really kick things into gear.

My awesome SisInLaw is throwing me a baby shower on April 24th and I am so excited to see everyone. It is odd, I must say, to have a party thrown for me. I think the last time that happened was high school graduation..wow!
To get ready for the shower, our only task was to register. Sean insisted on scanning all items, of course, and it was fun. You do sort of get scan-happy, I must admit. All we registered for, however, we can certainly use.

AND-that's where we are at :) Life is great and we feel truly happy to be together. I try not to take any of this for granted, as we are really lucky in our life right now.
